Great Price "Calculus: Early Transcendentals" for $85.51 Today



We used this book as a text in our Calc I, Calc II, and Calc III courses.

In Calc I and Calc II i mainly used it to do problems...there were plenty of exercises to keep me busy.

In Calc III i ended up self-studying from the text as well..and it was pretty easy to follow from what i recall. It has graphs, detailed out explanation/solution, and well stated facts and theorems.

Once done with those courses i though i would sell the book here in amazon, i even made a listing here but soon i took it off. The reason being, i realized there was more i could learn from this book.

For instance, this book has (one or maybe two) chapter(s) on Differential Equations. It was a okay preview to my DE course.

Another example would be my Analysis course. In analysis one basically goes over Calc I-II stuff over again but this time with more theory. Analysis course at times became fast-placed for me so i had to self-study to catchup...that's where this book helped once more. With this book i reviewed topics as convergence/divergence of a sequence (and even some integration formulas) that i had forgotten over a time period.

That wasn't the end of it, this book once again turned a GREAT help with my Advanced Calculus course. And prolly there is more to come...



oh and i noticed someone gave this book a bad rating for binding issue. In case you are concerned about the binding...well...i carried this book with me for 1 and 1/2 years (for my Calculus courses), i still look into it from time to time yet it is still in pretty good condition w/ no torn pages.

Good Condition - Duface -
The item came in good time and condition. The book has easy to follow examples to follow when doing homework. The only problem I have is that you can't get a hold of the solutions manual and this book isn't on cramster. So there is no way to know if you did the odd problems correct.


Riquered text - Kexinger -
The only reason I got this book was because of my class.

Not that useful to understand a topic, rather it is useful to answer individual question while doing homework.

aside note: I hate WebAssing. :(
